Beatrice is a truly wonderful dog who is full of joy, playfulness and affection. She absolutely adores people and has a particular soft spot for children, happily seeking out attention, cuddles and companionship whenever she can.

She is a friendly, social girl who loves playtime with her doggy friends. She is active and energetic when having fun, but she also has a gentle, loving side and enjoys nothing more than curling up for cuddles with her favourite people.

Beatrice loves her walks and exploring the world around her. She has a beautiful temperament, kind eyes and a sweet nature that wins over everyone she meets. Because she is a large, enthusiastic girl, she may accidentally knock over very small children during play, but her intentions are always loving and friendly.

📖 Beatrice’s Story 📖

Beatrice was sadly found alone on an open field beside a busy road in March 2026. When she was rescued, it was immediately clear that something was wrong as she was struggling to walk. We took her to the vet, where she was diagnosed with Babesiosis and a broken leg, likely caused by being hit by a car.

She urgently needed surgery and thanks to the incredible generosity of our Whispaws supporters, enough funds were raised to give Beatrice the urgent treatment she needed. We are delighted to say that her surgery was a success and she has made a fantastic recovery.

Despite everything she has endured, Beatrice remains loving, trusting and gentle. She has never let her difficult past define her and continues to greet each day with happiness and enthusiasm. She is friendly with other dogs, loves to play and has won the hearts of everyone who knows her.

Beatrice’s journey is one of resilience, strength and second chances. Now fully recovered and ready for her next chapter, she is ready to find a forever family who will cherish her as much as we do 💜
