Meet Alfred

Once abandoned on the streets, Alfred ended up in a government pound before coming into our care. When we rescued him, he was severely matted, filthy, and diagnosed with both Giardia and Anaplasmosis. Thanks to treatment and lots of love, Alfred is now healthy, fully recovered, and ready to find a forever home.

He’s fully vaccinated, Brucellosis negative, and receives monthly preventative care thanks to our wonderful Whispaws supporters.

Alfred is gentle and calm by nature. He gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats, and adores being around people, but he also treasures peace and quiet. While the other dogs are zooming around the shelter, Alfred prefers to find a calm corner to relax in.

He walks beautifully on the lead, slow and steady is his style. A quiet home with a calm atmosphere would suit him perfectly.
