Maisie is an incredibly sweet, gentle and easy-going girl who is simply full of love. She is soft-natured, affectionate and happy, with a wonderful personality that makes her so easy to adore. She really is a bundle of sunshine ☀️💜

Maisie loves people and absolutely adores being close to them. She loves attention, cuddles and physical affection and will often put her front paws up on people because she just wants to be as close to you as possible. She is such a lovable girl who would happily spend her day surrounded by her favourite people.

She is wonderfully well-socialised and gets along brilliantly with dogs of all sizes, as well as cats and children of all ages. She is happy around everyone she meets, making her a lovely companion for a family.

Maisie walks well on the lead and is a stable and affectionate girl who takes everything in her stride. Because she loves getting close to people and putting her paws up for cuddles, some supervision around very young children is recommended so she doesn’t accidentally knock them over.

📖 Maisie’s Story 📖

Maisie was sadly found abandoned on the streets of Serbia during our daily street feeding efforts in April 2026. When we first noticed her, it was clear that she needed help. She had lost much of her fur due to a serious skin condition.

We had space available for Maisie at the Pansion, so we were able to bring her into our care and give her the safe place she needed to begin her recovery. One of our wonderful trustees also kindly stepped in to sponsor Maisie and cover the costs of the care and treatment she needed.

Maisie was taken to the vets, where she was diagnosed with mange. With the right treatment, care and plenty of love, she began her incredible recovery. Slowly but surely, her health improved, her beautiful fur grew back and the sweet girl underneath shone through more and more each day.

Today, Maisie looks like a completely different dog. She has transformed completely and is now healthy, happy and full of life, with the biggest smile. Despite the difficult start she had, Maisie has remained the sweetest girl. She is friendly, loving and full of joy, and has so much love to give. She adores people, loves cuddles and simply wants to be close to those around her.

After everything she has been through, Maisie deserves a forever home where she can continue to be surrounded by love, cuddles and the people she adores.
