🐾 Personality & Temperament 🐾

Earnest is an active, cheerful and playful young dog who truly thrives around people and other dogs. He loves being part of the action and enjoys social interaction, whether that’s playing with canine friends or soaking up human attention.

During playtime he is fast, agile and full of joyful energy, but importantly he is not dominant. He gets along very well with other dogs and enjoys their company.

He absolutely loves close contact with humans and will often jump up in excitement to greet you; it’s all part of his affectionate and happy nature. After a busy play session, he’s more than happy to settle in for cuddles and companionship.

He’s still a puppy learning about the world, and with that comes some big personality! He’s shown some guarding behaviour when it comes to his food, he prefers not to share his bowl – but this seems to be down to his age and will improve with training and consistency. It’s all part of his charm and character as he grows into the wonderful dog he’s destined to be.

📖 Earnest’s Story 📖

Earnest was rescued alongside his sister Edith as part of a vulnerable litter of three puppies during our street feeding campaign. Sadly, one of the puppies didn’t survive – an all too common reality when young litters are abandoned. Their start in life was uncertain, likely without proper care or shelter, but thanks to a small fundraiser and a kind sponsor, we were able to give Earnest and Edith the veterinary care and support they needed to thrive.

Still under one year old, Earnest is thriving. His difficult start in life hasn’t dimmed his spirit. Instead, he is a shining example of resilience and puppy joy. His expressive eyes and cheerful nature win hearts wherever he goes and he’s ready for a family to share all that love and energy with.
