Django is one of the sweetest, most affectionate souls we’ve rescued. He truly has a heart of gold. He is calm, gentle and an absolute cuddle-bug, often resting his head on your chest and drifting off contentedly. He is patient, soft-natured and incredibly loving 🥰.

Django is a wonderful older boy who gets along beautifully with other dogs. He is especially fond of female dogs and gets along well with males. He loves children, people and his toys, and is very attached to having his own comfortable space.

He adores lying in the sun, going for relaxed walks and rolling happily in the grass. He has a lovely routine, he walks nicely on a lead, enjoys his meals and never says no to a treat. He is easy going, happy to relax quietly and never causes trouble.

As a mature gentleman, Django prefers calm interactions and does not enjoy younger dogs jumping on him. He would never hurt anyone, he simply appreciates respectful company and a peaceful environment. Cheerful and full of love, he truly enjoys having his own cosy bed at the end of the day.

Django shows no signs of aggression and is wonderful with children. He thrives on human connection and would do best in a home that can give him regular affection, gentle walks and companionship.

📖 Django’s Story 📖

Previously known as Džeki (Jackie) Django was rescued from the streets of Serbia. Like many street dogs, he tested positive for Heartworm, which is now being actively treated. He is nearing full recovery and once his results are clear, he will be ready to travel and start his new chapter. While his past is largely unknown, what we do know is that Django is calm, affectionate and soft-hearted.

He is ready to find a loving family who can offer him the care, comfort and cuddles he deserves 💜
