Meet Winnie

Winnie was spotted alone and frightened in a government pound – just a small girl in desperate need of love. Thankfully, she was rescued and is now safe in a caring foster home, growing in confidence every single day.

When she first arrived, Winnie had Giardia and was covered in fleas and ticks, but with proper care and treatment, she’s now healthy, happy, and as bright as a button!

Winnie is incredibly sweet and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm, quiet friend to share the sofa with. She’s great with other dogs and doesn’t mind cats, but she does prefer a peaceful environment—so she’d be best suited to life as an only dog or with another gentle, calm companion.

After everything she’s been through, Winnie truly deserves a cosy, stable home where she can relax, feel safe, and enjoy the simple pleasures—like curling up on a lap in front of the TV. She may be timid at first, but with a little patience, she’ll blossom into the affectionate little cuddler her foster family knows and loves.
